Hi! I’m Maryne!
(It’s pronounced like Karen with an M)
I grew up singing in choir and taking dance classes, but my love for the arts really exploded when I did my first musical at age 10. (Annie, of course) While in college I developed a love for acting, and had the privilege of studying styles like Suzuki, Viewpoints, Laban, and Stanislavski. Now, I specialize in physical acting styles and text analysis. I am also an avid tapper, and nothing brings me more joy than a flashy, ensemble heavy musical.
Some of my dream shows are Les Misérables, 42nd Street, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Light in the Piazza. When I’m not performing, you can probably find me reading a book outside while drinking an iced coffee. I also love to teach, and am currently a teaching artist with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and American Legacy Theatre.
